The School of Music at First Baptist Church on the Square offers weekly half-hour lessons in piano, organ, guitar, violin and other instruments upon request for beginners and advanced musicians. Our teachers are all experienced in teaching and enjoy seeing students’ musical talents grow and develop. Our teaching schedule closely follows the Troup County school calendar, beginning in August and ending in May. Summer lessons are available upon request. Regularly scheduled recitals allow students the opportunity to perform for family and friends. Students are also encouraged to play for their church and community whenever possible.
