First Baptist Church holds an annual golf tournament to help increase awareness and to raise funds for our Upward Sports mission and outreach opportunities. The event is open to men and women of all ages who enjoy the game of golf. Our most recent tournament, nearly 80 golfers helped raise over $2,000 for Upward sports and had a great time at the tournament! Two teams tied for first place with rounds of 56!
Our tournaments have morning and afternoon flights. The format is a four man scramble with a shotgun start. There are prizes for teams, closest to the pin and longest drive contests. We hold a tournament banquet after play concludes where we award door prizes along with the tournament prizes. Guests who could not participate in the tournament may join us for the banquet. Reservations are required and admission for a non-tournament guest is $10.00 each.
