First Baptist Church is excited about its softball teams. Although we play hard and we play to win, we always strive to display Christ-like conduct before, during and after each game. We invite Jesus to every game and He leads our teams. That’s what we’re about. Softball is another way we get together with other Christians and enjoy a time of fellowship and fun. All glory goes to God, rather than to the winning team!
Our Men’s and COED teams compete in the Troup County Parks and Recreation Church league comprised of teams from churches throughout the LaGrange and Troup County area. Games usually begin in April and are scheduled for Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday nights. Schedules are available via the link below.
From the opening prayer to the end of game handshakes, it’s fun for the whole family, so check out this year’s schedule and come out and join in on the fellowship!
