Periodic planned times for covered-dish suppers, games, skating, movies, volleyball, fellowship and fun are scheduled to provide families with an opportunity to relax and enjoy time together in a Christian atmosphere. In addition to planned activities, the Christian Family Life Center is available for birthday parties, weddings and receptions by reservation. Any church group or organization may reserve all or part of the building when available.
Church Wide Fellowships
We will hold church wide fellowships Sunday after worship on Memorial Day, Fourth of July and Labor Day weekends. Our church family will gather in the CFLC for a fellowship meal and then have a chance to enjoy fun and games for the children and young at heart. Bring a covered dish meal for your family plus one guest and the church will supplement the meat and provide all paper and plastic items needed.
In addition to these events, we also hold a church wide fellowship on Super Bowl Sunday and the last Sunday night before our children return to school. We meet at the Mike Daniel Recreation Center on LaFayette Parkway. Your family can enjoy the pool, basketball, volleyball, roller skating, BMX biking (weather permitting) and the skateboard center. Hamburgers, hotdogs, chips and desert are served. There are rumors of a homemade ice cream contest!
Spring Break Trip
Join your FBC family and friends on our annual spring break trip. We most often travel during the high school spring break. We haved been on several cruises, traveled to Banff, Canada, the Grand Canyon, Washington, D.C. and Key West. A deposit of $50 per person will hold your reservation until final payments are due. Final payment is most often due in February. Skate or Volleyball Nights
Join family and friends with a skating or volleyball fellowship in the Christian Family Life Center. Enjoy a roll around the rink, volleyball, great Christian music, games, food, fun and fellowship. Bring your own skates or use the skates provided in the CFLC. We can even provide your group with the ultimate blacklight volleyball experience.
Family Camping

Family Fun Days and Nights
Summer break gives us the chance to offer additional Family activities for us to share. River rafting, camping, theme parks and concerts are just a few of the opportunities we experience each summer.
Fall Festival
Join the FBC family in our annual Fall Festival in the Christian Family Life Center and Children’s Building. We a create a positive atmosphere for families as an alternative to traditional Halloween activities. This year’s event kicks off with activities, games, food and great fun! Volunteers are needed to work in many areas of the festival. Festival of Marriage
We participate in the Lifeway Fall Festivals of Marriage. These weekend conferences are a great chance for couples to get away and refresh their commitment to their spouse. Call the Activities Ministry office at (706) 884-5570 for details or to make your reservation.
