Fellowship Meals
First Baptist Church on the Square has several church wide fellowships planned each year. We gather in the Christian Family Life Center after morning services to enjoy a covered dish lunch and the fellowship of friends and family. This is a great opportunity for you to invite a neighbor or friend to join us for a meal and fellowship.
This year we will meet on the Sunday before the Fourth of July and the Sunday before Labor Day weekend in the CFLC. Church members are asked to bring a meal for their family plus one. The church supplements the meat and provides plates, cups, glasses, napkins and all tableware. Meals that need to be reheated or stay refrigerated should be dropped off in the CFLC kitchen. Please be sure to label your dishes for ease of identification after the meal.
Travel Opportunities
Each year we take a week long trip to promote community and fellowship with our members. Trips are most often taken during the week of our local school system’s spring break so all family members can participate. The Activities Ministry also provides bi-monthly travel opportunities for our senior adult group, the Merrymakers. Trips are usually within 2 hours of LaGrange and include a fun activity and meal.
