How Do I Dress?
Dress comfortably. While some attendees do wear their “Sunday best,” most folks wear casual and comfortable clothes on Sunday morning. Don’t worry about what you wear–just come prepared to have a wonderful time of worship and fellowship!
What Do I Bring?
A Bible will help you to follow along in worship and in Bible Study. If you have a Bible, bring it with you to church. Our Pastor, Paul Baxter, refers to the Bible often during his messages. If you don’t have a Bible, or forgot to bring your Bible, Bibles are available in the Sanctuary pews and in the Christian Family Life Center Lobby.
When Do I Need To Arrive?
Sunday services begin at 8:45, 10:55 and 11:00 a.m. Sunday Bible Study hours are at 9:45 a.m. Arrive about fifteen minutes before your desired worship/Bible study time to allow for parking and time to get to your location.
Where Do My Children Go?
First Baptist Church on the Square has excellent preschool and children’s ministries. Greeters are just inside our entrances fifteen minutes before every service and our volunteers will assist you in getting your children to their class or department. We offer preschool childcare from bed babies through 5 years. Your children (K4-1st Grade) won’t want to miss Childrens Church (held simultaneously with our 10:55 and 11:00 a.m. Sunday services). Sunday Bible Study classes are offered for all ages.
What About Security?
We take child security seriously at FBC. Each child must be registered at either the Preschool Welcome Desk or one of the Children’s Ministry Welcome Desks before entering a Sunday School class. A security card is given to the parent and must be presented at departure. Additional security measures and personnel are on campus to ensure the safety of every attendee.
