Bible Study

Bible Study Is For Life!
If you can attend church only one hour this week, I would prefer you choose to attend a small Bible Study group.
Dr. Paul R. Baxter, Pastor

Bible study is the cornerstone of discipleship.

When you think of Sunday School, you think of Bible study. Every week on Sunday morning, people gather in our class rooms to study God’s Word together and discuss how these truths transform lives. Bible study is the primary reason we meet together on Sunday mornings, but Sunday School is so much more than that. Sunday School is the place where friends gather to pray together, laugh together, and sometimes cry together. Sunday School is the place where new friendships often begin. Many times, Sunday School is the starting place for newcomers to our church.

We have a Sunday School class for you. Whether you are 5, 14, 42 or 80, we have a class of compassionate people who love the Lord, ready to welcome you. Our teachers and leaders work hard during the week to prepare the Bible lesson and pray for class members so that when they arrive, they will be challenged by the truth of God’s Word. While we believe that Bible study should be transformational, we also believe that Bible study should be fun and exciting. As you walk through our hallways each Sunday, it becomes apparent by the joy and enthusiasm that we look forward to being a part of a small group of Christ-loving people. Many of our classes get together outside of class for parties and socials to extend the Sunday morning experience.

Developing close relationships in a Bible study class has another strong benefit. In times of need, it is important that you have a network of friends you know you can count on. Friends who will drop everything to help. Friends who will stop and pray for you. Sunday School is where you will find and make friends such as these.
