The Activities Ministry offers instructional classes on various topics including photography, calligraphy, first aid, CPR, and more. The Christian Family Life Center is available for birthday parties, weddings and receptions by reservation. Any church group or organization may reserve all or part of the building when available.

Family Activities: Periodic planned times for covered-dish suppers, games, skating, movies, volleyball, fellowship and fun.

Parents Night Out:  No need to scour LaGrange for a babysitter!  Enjoy a quiet dinner together, a movie or a sunset walk along the lake.  The Activities, Children and Preschool Ministries are working together to provide Parents Night Out!

Church Wide Fellowships: Memorial Day Weekend, Fourth of July weekend and Labor Day Weekend we hold church wide fellowships in the CFLC.  Click the heading link to find the details on these fellowships.  Homemade Ice Cream Contest (with the prestigious "Golden Freezer" award), Men's Cake Bake contest, Watermelon cutting and carving are just a few of the events we are planning for summer and fall.

Church Wide Picnics:  Everyone loves a picnic.  Check our plans for an annual church picnic at the lake.

Camping Events:  Spring Family Campout and Fall Father/Son Campouts

Conferences:  Celebrate Life - LifeWay's National Senior Adult Convention, Fall Festival of Marriage, Living Proof Live with Beth Moore, Light Up Your Holidays Christmas in Nashville

Scouts: First Baptist Church sponsors Cub Scout, Boy Scout, and Explorer Groups.
